Transcription: My character is largely a composite of two things that were going on at the time. One, the snake oil salesman and the other the traveling musician, the thespian. What my wife and I do is we will play the music, period skits, and then involve other reenactors in what it might have been like to try and sell these cure-alls that were available at the time. I enjoy educating other people from children to families about the American heritage.
